Hi, I’m Chris, the owner and lead inspector at Outside In Home Inspections. I’m an ASHI Certified Inspector with over 20 years of experience serving homeowners, buyers, and real estate professionals in the South Bay and surrounding areas. I know how important it is to provide thorough, reliable, and easy-to-understand inspection reports that help you make informed decisions about one of life’s biggest investments.

A Passion for Craftsmanship

Outside of home inspections, my passion lies in restoring vintage Volkswagens. I have been restoring Volkswagens for over 35 years, each with its own history and story. That same attention to detail and understanding of how things are built carries directly into my work as a home inspector.

Giving Back to the Community

I also founded a non-profit vintage Volkswagen social club that brings enthusiasts together and hosts yearly car events in Santa Cruz, Capitola, and at Casa de Fruta. Through these events, we’ve been able to raise and donate over $5,000 to local non-profits, including:
